Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar Yoga was developed by B.K.S. in India over 65 years ago and has a rich and extensive lineage. It is based on sound principles of anatomy and physiology with a strong emphasis on the development of proper musculoskeletal alignment through the use of props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps. Yoga enables not only the physiological systems to function at their best, but also promotes the union of the mind, body and spirit into one. It builds strength and endurance; increases flexibility; reduces stress as well as improves circulation, concentration and balance.

Iyengar Yoga Beginners

In this level we work on the basic standing, twisting, forward and back bend poses. If you are just starting yoga, want a deeper understanding of each pose, or you suffer from backaches this is a great class for you.

Iyengar Yoga Level I

In this level inverted and abdominal poses are introduced in addition to the begginer level experiences. Everyone is welcome to take the Level I class.

Iyengar Yoga Level II

In this level more inverted poses and arm balances are introduced. At least 6 months of experience of Iyengar Yoga is required and this level is by invitation only.

Iyengar Yoga Multilevel

In this class some previous knowledge of Iyengar Yoga is required. Advance poses will be introduced and each person will perform each pose at his/her own level. Those who are unable to perform the poses can use props or modifications.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is an ancient, sacred science that awakens your utmost potential. Kundalini yoga uses specific techniques for breathing, movement, sound current and meditation to create an authentic union within each of us. The benefits are immediate and measurable, while giving you tools to experience more peace, well being and contentment.

Prenatal Kundalini Yoga

Take this special time of change to be with your growing baby in a safe and nurturing class. Strengthening postures (safe for all trimesters) & breathing techniques are taught to help you relax during labor & birth. Guided meditation and special time for relaxation are both integral parts of this unique class.

Post Natal Yoga

Mommy and me postnatal yoga is for mommies and babies 6 weeks till crawling. Postnatal yoga focuses on rebuilding core strength, increasing also the spiritual, emotional and physical bond between mommy and baby. Postnatal yoga will help speed your recovery from pregnancy and birth and reconnect your mind and body.

Hot Yoga

Hot Yoga consists of a series of yoga poses done in a heated room. The room is usually maintained at a temperature of 95-100 degrees. As you can imagine, a vigorous yoga session at this temperature promotes profuse sweating and makes the body very warm, and therefore more flexible.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa, means breath-synchronized movement. This yoga is more vigorous and performs a series of poses called Sun Salutations, in which movement is coordinated with respiration. Vinyasa yoga will typically start with a number of Sun Salutations to warm up the body and end with a series of stretching exercises. 

YogaWorks Style

Balancing precise intruction and alignment with fluid breath and movement these classes are carefully themed to deepen your experience of yoga. A flow of Sun Salutations, standing and other postures are skillfully sequenced and modifications and variations including the use of props are used to individualize your practice. The YogaWorks style of Yoga is inspired by the very clear and effective style of practice that is taught in The YogaWorks Teacher Training Program. YogaWorks classes are paced moderately to vigorously depending upon the level.

Flow Yoga

This strength and flexibility workout is a vigorous, fitness-based approach to Vinyasa Yoga. It creates a higher level of energy, vitality and freedom. 

Basic Yoga

By using props in each pose, everyone is able to get into the right position and alignment of the body. In this class we do simple poses to help you gain strength and flexibility one step at the time. It makes you honor and listen to your own body.

Restorative Yoga

Class with movement and sounds, using simple poses that makes you go deeper, making you feel new and empowered. The vibration of the sounds will help the poses in the expansion of the body, mind and emotions. Stretch, relax and restore your inner and outer-self.

Private Sessions

Private Sessions are available by appointment for those with therapeutic needs which cannot be addressed in a group class.
