MARLEN KIREL
	Marlen Kirel was brought up in a yogi household by a mother who was an experienced yoga practitioner and later a Hatha Yoga teacher. Marlen was a professional dancer and athlete. She also taught spinning, jazz, oriental and modern dance. Marlen picked up her yoga studies and developed her skills as a student and later as a teacher when she arrived in the United States. She is a Certified Iyengar Yoga instructor and has studied under B.K.S Iyengar, Gitta Iyengar, Manouso Manos, John Schumacher, Dean and Rebecca Lerner, Lois Steinberg and Mary Dunn. Marlen holds a Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Food Technology and is a breastfeeding consultant. Marlen is energetic, caring about students' needs and compassionate in her teaching style. She is intuitive and her joy of teaching comes from sharing all that yoga has brought to her.
