What is cycling?
A typical cycling class involves a single instructor at the front of the class who leads the participants through routines that are designed to simulate terrain and situations similar to riding a bike outdoors. Participant goals are based on heart rate, which can be measured by hand or by using a heart rate monitor, and ride-simulated variations in terrain by altering resistance and cadence.
For advanced cyclers, kick it up a notch by adding weights and core exercises:
Cycling: Be led through high-energy cycling routines designed to simulate terrain and situations similar to riding a bike outdoors. Set your own goals and track your progress on heart rate monitors.
Cycling Bootcamp: This class includes a big portion of the regular cycling class described above plus boot camp training, which includes the use of weights and toning exercises.
Cycling and abs: This class includes a 45 minute regular cycling class and ends with 15 minutes of strong core training.
